Welcome to Maysville Local School District! Our campus is comprised of Maysville Elementary School, Maysville Middle School, Maysville High School, the Maysville Athletic Complex, the Administration Building that also houses our 5-Star Step Up to Quality O’Tags Preschool, the Maysville Football Stadium, and athletic fields. Our district encompasses 54 square miles. We are proud of our campus and we are grateful to our community for the continued support of our schools.

Maysville offers students a diverse selection of opportunities. The Balanced Literacy Plan at the elementary is a framework that provides components of instruction that will develop students’ ability to read, write, listen, and speak effectively. This past summer elementary students had the chance to attend Maysville’s first STEM Camp. The middle school offers STEM classes and has expanded our Career Technical Education offerings for students in grades 6-8. Advanced level classes have been included in the schedule to extend the learning of gifted students. At the high school level students are able to extend advanced learning through College Credit Plus and Advanced Placement courses. Service learning options are also available for students. The Outdoor Recreation course takes students throughout our campus to experience engaging activities that can become life-long interests, such as biking and fishing.

At Maysville we believe that every student can learn and we embrace a growth mindset. Every learner progresses at his or her own pace, but with perseverance and grit, learning can happen. It just hasn’t happened-YET! We look forward to an exciting 2017-2018 school year!
